PML-N and MQM-P will run together in Pakistan on February 8th

According to a media source, Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) and Muttahida Qaumi Movement Pakistan (MQM-P), a party centered in Karachi, declared on Tuesday that they will be running together in the general elections set for February 8.<img decoding=”async” class=”alignnone wp-image-271859″ src=”https://www.theindiaprint.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/11/theindiaprint.com-pml-n-and-mqm-p-will-run-together-in-pakistan-on-february-8th-pakistanelections-11.jpg” alt=”theindiaprint.com pml n and mqm p will run together in pakistan on february 8th pakistanelections 11″ width=”1123″ height=”846″ srcset=”https://www.theindiaprint.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/11/theindiaprint.com-pml-n-and-mqm-p-will-run-together-in-pakistan-on-february-8th-pakistanelections-11.jpg 560w, https://www.theindiaprint.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/11/theindiaprint.com-pml-n-and-mqm-p-will-run-together-in-pakistan-on-february-8th-pakistanelections-11-150×113.jpg 150w” sizes=”(max-width: 1123px) 100vw, 1123px” title=”PML-N and MQM-P will run together in Pakistan on February 8th 15″>

The development follows a MQM-P delegation’s meeting at the party’s Model Town office in Lahore with PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif, according to a report from Geo News.

Leading figures from the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) and PML-N said on Monday that they will collaborate for the nation’s development. It was announced during a phone discussion between former president Asif Ali Zardari and former prime minister Nawaz Sharif, during which they spoke about the political climate among other topics.

On Monday, the MQM-P said that its leader, Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, had received a call from PML-N leader and former prime minister Shehbaz Sharif, inviting him to see his older brother Nawaz.

Following the announcement last week by the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) that the country’s next general elections will take place on February 8, political campaigning has intensified nationwide.

October 21 saw the homecoming of PML-N supremo Sharif, 73, from his four-year self-imposed exile.

Separately, the Sharifs have begun visiting party officials in Lahore and engaging in political activities.
