In the 2023 Hockey Women’s Junior World Cup in Chile, Preeti will represent India

<p>In Pool C, India is grouped alongside Belgium, Germany, and Canada. They will play Canada on November 29 to start the tournament, then play Belgium and Germany in Pool C on November 30 and December 2, respectively.</p>
<p>The remaining teams in the competition are Argentina, Spain, Zimbabwe, Korea, and the Netherlands in Pool A and South Africa, Australia, Chile, and South Africa in Pool B. England, the United States, New Zealand, and Japan will compete in Pool D for a spot in the Quarterfinals.</p>
<p>December 6 is when the Quarterfinals and Semifinals are set to take place, while December 10 is when the Final will take place.</p>
<p>India placed fourth in the previous event, only missing out on the bronze medal. Preeti will lead the Indian Junior squad for the next competition, with Rutuja Dadaso Pisal serving as her deputy.</p>
<p>The goalkeepers Khushboo and Madhuri Kindo are on the team. Midfielders Mahima Tete, Manju Chorsiya, Jyoti Chhatri, Hina Bano, Sujata Kujur, and Rutaja Dadaso Pisal have been chosen in the team, along with defenders Neelam, Preeti, Jyoti Singh, and Ropni Kumari.</p>
<p>Sakshi Rana, Mumtaz Khan, Annu, Deepika Soreng, Dipi Monika Toppo, and Sunelita Toppo make up the attacking line. Thounaojam Nirupama Devi, the defender, and Jyothi Edula, the midfielder, have been nominated as substitute players for the high-profile event.</p>
<p>“We have an incredible talent pool, so it wasn’t easy to select the final squad, but I think we have chosen the best one for the World Cup and these players have worked very hard in the past couple of months leading up to the event,” Indian Women’s Junior Team Coach Tushar Khandker said in reference to the team selection. The players are thrilled about the chance to display their skill on such a famous stage; they have recently played exceptionally well.</p>
<p>“It will aid us in adjusting to the conditions and setting the tempo for the Junior World Cup, as we will have our training and practice matches in Argentina prior to traveling to Chile,” he said.</p>
