<p>According to a statement, district collector Ashok Shingare will oversee the unit’s activities and report its results to the state authorities. The cell was established on Saturday.</p>
<p>According to the statement, the cell has been established similarly to the one in the Marathwada area and would validate the caste records, on the basis of which qualified Marathas may get Kunbi caste certificates.</p>
<p>According to the announcement, SDOs, tehsildars, and additional collector Manisha Jaibhaye-Dhule are all working feverishly to finish the mission in the district.</p>
<p>On Thursday, the chief minister said that each district collector would be required to assign ten staff members to locate historical documents, which would serve as the foundation for granting qualified Marathas Kunbi caste certificates.</p>
<p>Manoj Jarange, a Maratha quota campaigner, broke his nine-day indefinite fast on Thursday and requested that the community members be issued credentials of Kunbi caste.</p>
<p>The Other Backward Classes (OBC) category already provides quota advantages to the Kunbi people.</p>
