<p>The preliminary schedule for the classes 10 and 12 board examinations in 2024 has been released by the Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (GBSHSE). On April 1 and February 28, respectively, the board examinations for the SSC, or class 10, and the HSSC, or class 12, will start. The timetable is available on the exam’s official website, gbshse.in, for students who will be taking it. <p>Starting on April 1 and running through April 20, the SSC theoretical tests will take place.On March 4, SSC practical tests will start. Exams for general and CWSN science, geography, and history will start on March 1, while those for pre-vocational or CWSN specific courses will start on March 13.</p>
<p>The HSSC theoretical test, meantime, will start on February 28 and end on March 14. The dates of the class 12 vocational examinations are March 1 through March 12. While the NSQF practical examinations will start on February 7, the general practical test and audit of vocational programmes will start on February 1.</p>
<p>The test will start at 9:30. Candidates are urged to be at the allocated test sites no later than 9 am. After 30 minutes, latecomers will not be accepted. Before 10:30 am, candidates are not permitted to leave the test room.</p>
<p>Class 10 and class 12 exams for the Goa board cost Rs 1200 for general questions and Rs 600 for CWSN topics. Applicants who submit their applications after the deadline must pay a late charge of Rs 500. The exam price is Rs. 500 + Rs. 100 each day for applications submitted after the deadline for late fees. For isolated topics in practical tests, the out-of-turn charge is Rs 150 for SSC and Rs 250 for HSSC. The out-of-turn price for practical exams is Rs 400 per subject. For oral examinations, class 12 candidates must pay a fee of Rs. 75. The cost of a statement of grades and a diploma is Rs 350, while the cost of practical tests for general and pre-vocational courses is Rs 150. For CWSN topics, there is no practical exam cost.</p>
