Check Out the Vande Bharat Express’s Schedule from Chennai to Vijayawada in Just 6.5 Hours

The next Vande Bharat Express train is getting ready to start operations between Vijayawada and Chennai, which is a big step for rail connectivity.

Official sources state that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will essentially launch the new service on July 7 before it begins accepting payments on July 8. This much anticipated semi-high-speed train, which would be the third Vande Bharat train in Tamil Nadu, is expected to significantly shorten travel time between the two cities.<img decoding=”async” class=”alignnone wp-image-59606″ src=”https://www.theindiaprint.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/07/www.theindiaprint.com-check-out-the-vande-bharat-expresss-schedule-from-chennai-to-vijayawada-in-just-6-5-hours-download-2023-07-05t174905.358.jpg” alt=”” width=”1324″ height=”881″ srcset=”https://www.theindiaprint.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/07/www.theindiaprint.com-check-out-the-vande-bharat-expresss-schedule-from-chennai-to-vijayawada-in-just-6-5-hours-download-2023-07-05t174905.358.jpg 275w, https://www.theindiaprint.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/07/www.theindiaprint.com-check-out-the-vande-bharat-expresss-schedule-from-chennai-to-vijayawada-in-just-6-5-hours-download-2023-07-05t174905.358-150×100.jpg 150w” sizes=”(max-width: 1324px) 100vw, 1324px” />

Before arriving in Chennai, the Vande Bharat Express will make stops along the way at Gudur, Renigunta, and Katpadi. It will then take the same path back. A significant time advantage exists for passengers traveling between Vijayawada and Chennai since it is predicted that the intercity trip would only take six and a half hours.

Vande Bharat trains are now running between Visakhapatnam and Secunderabad in Andhra Pradesh as well as between Secunderabad and Tirupati. According to railway authorities, there has been a noteworthy increase in the number of people using these services.

The Vijayawada Division Railway authorities have suggested running the new train through Renigunta junction in an effort to make it more convenient for customers going between Vijayawada and the famed temple town of Tirupati. This tactical choice intends to meet the growing need for connection and improve commuters’ travel experiences.

Another Vande Bharat train, linking Lucknow, Ayodhya, and Gorakhpur, may also depart on July 7, according to sources, heightening the anticipation. Although the Prime Minister’s Office has not yet provided official confirmation, it is expected that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will also launch this train service, demonstrating the government’s dedication to enhancing rail connections across the nation.

Passengers can expect a fantastic voyage highlighted by improved speed, efficiency, and luxury as the eagerly awaited Vande Bharat Express makes its big entrance. This new train service is expected to enhance customers’ travel experiences on the Vijayawada-Chennai line by promising shorter travel times and better connections.
