Pro-Palestinian demonstrators march throughout the globe and demand a cease-fire

Pro-Palestinian demonstrators marched on Saturday in London, Berlin, and Rome to demand an end to hostilities between Israel and Hamas. According to the New York Post, at least 7,000 pro-Palestinian demonstrators marched across the Brooklyn Bridge on Saturday in New York, US.<img decoding=”async” class=”alignnone wp-image-257638″ src=”https://www.theindiaprint.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/theindiaprint.com-pro-palestinian-demonstrators-march-throughout-the-globe-and-demand-a-cease-fire-d.jpg” alt=”theindiaprint.com pro palestinian demonstrators march throughout the globe and demand a cease fire d” width=”927″ height=”617″ srcset=”https://www.theindiaprint.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/theindiaprint.com-pro-palestinian-demonstrators-march-throughout-the-globe-and-demand-a-cease-fire-d.jpg 275w, https://www.theindiaprint.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/theindiaprint.com-pro-palestinian-demonstrators-march-throughout-the-globe-and-demand-a-cease-fire-d-150×100.jpg 150w” sizes=”(max-width: 927px) 100vw, 927px” title=”Pro-Palestinian demonstrators march throughout the globe and demand a cease-fire 3″>

Protesters brandished placards and banners with Palestinian flags and chants such as “Free Palestine.” According to pictures obtained by Reuters, the protesters carried placards including the words “Stop Killing Children,” “Freedom for Palestine,” and “Stop bombing Gaza.”

“My fear is that there will be no more Palestine,” said one of the demonstrators in London. Right now, Palestine is being saved, not liberated. That is my worry that they will vanish off the face of the earth, according to Reuters.

The march started in front of the Brooklyn Museum in Crown Height at 3 p.m. (local time). As they marched through the borough, the demonstrators publicly applauded the terrorist strikes on Israel by Hamas.

As a precautionary action in response to this March, police officers stopped traffic on the Brooklyn-bound side. Marie Edward, a different protestor, had earlier said that Israelis were the true “killers” and supported Hamas’s October 7 operation.

The Metropolitan Council on Jewish Poverty is led by Brooklyn Democrat David Greenfield, a former city councilman, who was criticized by protest organizers for organizing an anti-Israel demonstration on Shabbat in Crown Heights, a neighborhood with a significant Hasidic Jewish population, before the event.

Notably, on October 7, when Hamas attacked Israel, the latter began a counteroffensive against Israel. Israel is committed to eliminating Hamas.

According to The Times of Israel, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Saturday that the arrival of additional ground soldiers in Gaza on Friday night marked the beginning of the second phase of the conflict with Hamas.

“Defeat the murderous enemy and to ensure our existence in our land,” he said, is Israel’s mission. His remarks follow the Israel Defense Forces chief’s declaration, as published by The Times of Israel, that the IDF is now conducting ground operations in the Gaza Strip to accomplish every goal of the conflict.

Netanyahu emphasized that the troops are a part of a three millennia-old Jewish combat history. “To defeat the murderous enemy, and to ensure our existence in our land,” he said, is their one objective.

He emphasized that Israel’s war goals include “destruction of Hamas’s military and governing capabilities; and returning the hostages home” at a news conference in Tel Aviv.According to a story in The Times of Israel, he said that the war cabinet and the security cabinet decided unanimously to begin the ground invasion.

He said, “Our commanders and soldiers know that the country and the national leadership stand behind them as they fight in enemy territory.” The troops he has seen in the field, he added, are committed to holding Hamas accountable for its deeds on October 7.
