Prepare for the Art of Living World Culture Festival in 2023, a global celebration in the heart of D.C

<p>As the US capital prepares to host the fourth Art of Living World Culture Festival from September 29 to October 1, all eyes will be on Washington DC this weekend.</p>
<p>The stage alone is the size of a football field, and it is set against the famous US Capitol as a background. The National Mall will be the site of a historic convergence of 17,000 artists, multiple heads of state, and thought leaders from over 100 nations. <p>More than 50 performances are featured at the event, including a traditional Chinese cultural performance with 1,000 singers and dancers, a “Garba” extravaganza with 7,000 dancers, 700 Indian classical dancers with a live orchestra, a 50th anniversary tribute to hip hop featuring Kurtis Blow, SHA-Rock, Sequence Girls, DJ Kool, and other legends of the genre alongside 100 breakdancers debuting choreography by King Charles and Kelli Forman, and 100</p>
<p>Martin Luther King Jr. gave his renowned “I Have a Dream” address on the National Mall in 1963 to promote equality and unification across the globe.</p>
<p>A century earlier, in Chicago at the inaugural World’s Parliament of Religions, Swami Vivekananda gave a stirring address that had the audience standing. He referred to the leaders of the world’s main religions as his brothers and sisters and urged a stop to religious prejudice and hate.</p>
<p>Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar will bring together citizens of 180 nations under the banner of “One World Family” on September 29, 2023, bridging gaps created by national boundaries, religious differences, and racial divisions.</p>
<p>The event will include cuisines from all around the globe since nothing brings people together like food. This event stands out for its dedication to providing a stage for upcoming performers and artists to display their abilities.</p>
<p>Speaking at the event will be special dignitaries like Ram Nath Kovind, the former president of India, Ban Ki-moon, the eighth Secretary-General of the United Nations, S. Jaishankar, the Minister of External Affairs of Suriname, Dr. Vivek Murthy, the US Surgeon General, Rick Scott, Nancy Pelosi, and Krishnakoemarie Mathoera.</p>
