<p>According to authorities, a two-wheeler was struck by a speeding automobile carrying six intoxicated youths on Tuesday, killing three persons, two of them were couples.</p>

<p>One of the six people in the vehicle died, while a couple on a two-wheeler in the other way also perished, according to Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Vidyasagar Naidu, speaking to PTI.</p>
<p>According to Naidu, one more passenger in the vehicle was hurt and sent to the hospital while the other four escaped.</p>
<p>The drivers of the automobile, who are jobless locals, were intoxicated, according to authorities. Beer bottles were found in the vehicle by the police.</p>
<p>The six passengers in the vehicle allegedly seized a man’s phone just before the collision when he saw one of them toss a beer bottle out the window.</p>
<p>Naidu said that they had taken the bystander’s phone in the hopes that he would call the police, but the accident happened only a short while afterwards.</p>
<p>The collision occurred as a result of reckless driving while intoxicated, he added, adding that the accused had been identified.</p>
<p>As long as a case has been filed under IPC Section 304 (penalty for culpable homicide not amounting to murder), Naidu said that the fugitives would be apprehended.</p>
