A Telangana youth was arrested for making death threats against Mukesh Ambani and was sent in police custody till November 8

<p>Telangana police on Saturday detained a 19-year-old man who they said had sent businessman Mukesh Ambani several death threats. <p>Following his arrest, the defendant appeared in court and was detained by the police until November 8.</p>
<p>This occurs a few days after Chairman of Reliance Industries Mukesh Ambani got a threat email demanding Rs 400 crore from an anonymous individual.</p>
<p>An official said at the time that Ambani’s firm got the email on Monday and that it was the third threat email addressed to Ambani in four days.</p>
<p>The industrialist’s security in-charge had earlier filed a case at Gamdevi police station after the receipt of the first email on Friday, which sought Rs 20 crore from an anonymous individual.</p>
<p>According to the official, the business got three emails on Monday, in which the sender quadrupled the demand, and another email on Saturday wanting Rs 200 crore.</p>
<p>A guy from Darbhanga, Bihar, was detained by the Mumbai police last year after he threatened Ambani and his family members with death. Additionally, the accused had threatened to blow up Mumbai’s Sir H N Reliance Foundation Hospital.</p>
