PM Modi Calls Civilian Casualties in Gaza Hospital Attack “Matter of Serious Concern”

<p>Following a devastating explosion on Tuesday night that left hundreds dead, Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed his sorrow over the unfortunate deaths at the Al Ahli Hospital in Gaza. <p>The Prime Minister emphasized how gravely disturbing it is that people have been killed in the current confrontation between Israel and Hamas. “Deeply disturbed by the horrific death toll at Gaza’s Al Ahli Hospital. Our sincere sympathies go out to the relatives of the deceased, and we send our prayers for the wounded to get quick healing. It is a major and continuous worry that civilians are being killed in the current war. Modi commented on X, previously known as X, “Those guilty need to be held accountable.</p>
<p>Of the five Gaza conflicts, the conflict that began on October 7 has turned out to be the bloodiest on both sides. According to the Gaza Health Ministry, 2,778 Palestinians have died and 9,700 have been injured. The victims from Tuesday night’s hospital explosion in Gaza are not included in this number. According to The Associated Press, another 1,200 individuals in Gaza are thought to be buried under the debris, either alive or dead. Over 1,400 people have died in Israel, and at least 199 more—some of them children—have been arrested by Hamas and transported to Gaza.</p>
<p>US Vice President Joe Biden arrived in Israel on a crunch mission on Wednesday to promote the delivery of humanitarian supplies to the Palestinians and prevent the Israel-Hamas conflict from spreading to other parts of the region.The UN Security Council is set to vote on a resolution about the fighting between Israel and Hamas, but discussions over the resolution’s text are still ongoing.</p>
