After the gunfight on Wednesday night, police detained Krishan Kumar and Gajendra, members of Dala’s gang, and found a hand grenade and a revolver.

According to officials, the collision happened on the Outer Ring Road heading near Sarai Kale Khan. They had lately murdered local Congressman Baljinder Singh Balli (45), who lived in Punjab’s Moga region, and had fled ever since.

Balli, also known as “namberdar” in his community, was shot twice. He was struck in the chest by one bullet and the thigh by the other.

Balli served as the Congress party’s block president in the hamlet of Ajitwal. According to the police, two attackers arrived on a bike. One waited outside while the other waited inside the home.

Arshdeep Singh Gill, aka Arsh Dala, a wanted criminal who is also from the Dala village and is thought to be hiding in Canada, rushed to Facebook a few hours after the death to take credit.

Mandeep Singh, also known as Deepa, of Ajitwal, Moga, and Saurav Kumar, also known as Saabi, of Ludhiana, were both detained by Mohali police a few days before. Both are Dala’s associates.

The two were sought in several criminal cases by the police in Ludhiana and Moga, and their local courts had both declared them to be criminal offenders.

According to a source, the police said that they had obtained top-secret intelligence indicating that the suspects were prowling about Kharar searching for an opportunity to steal Rs 40 lakh from a local businessman.

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) claims that the Dala gang smuggles weapons, ammo, and explosives for the KTF from the other side of the border.

According to the study, Dala has been leading and ordering terrorist attacks, as well as advocating for terrorism, bloodshed, and widespread extortion throughout India on behalf of the KTF.
