Conflict between Israel and Palestine: Air India evacuates crew members from Tel Aviv

<p>According to a source, Air India successfully evacuated its crew members and two airport managers from Tel Aviv on Sunday.</p>

<p>According to reports, they had boarded an Ethiopian Airlines aircraft for Addis Abeba and will take a connecting flight to India to complete their trip.</p>
<p>Meanwhile, in reaction to the continuing Hamas attack that broke out on Saturday and resulted in the terrible loss of life and several injuries, Air India has halted its operations to and from Delhi-Tel Aviv till October 14.</p>
<p>For the safety of our customers and staff, we’ll continue to halt all flights to and from Tel Aviv till October 14, 2023. According to a representative for Air India, the airline would provide all assistance to customers who have confirmed reservations on any aircraft during this time.</p>
<p>V. Muraleedharan, the minister of state for external affairs, said on Sunday that Indian citizens living in Israel may get assistance from the Indian embassy.</p>
<p>Speaking to local media representatives, he urged Indian citizens living in Israel to follow the Ministry of External Affairs’ advice and remain in secure shelters.</p>
<p>He said that only those in Israel are aware of the situation there and that Indian embassy employees there are prepared to assist Indian citizens living there.</p>
