Six female wrestlers accused BJP MLA Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh of sexual harassment, and the case was being heard in Delhi’s Rouse Avenue Court.

According to Srivastava, there was an intention on the side of the accused, and the instances are related, according to news agency ANI.

The extra public prosecutor said that Bhushan was aware of his actions in Kazakhstan, Mongolia, Bellary, and New Delhi in order to support the occurrences. According to Srivastava, Singh embraced a female wrestler without her will in Tajikistan, and when the complainant objected, Singh described the act as “father-like.”

However, attorney Rajiv Mohan previously argued on behalf of Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh that the Court lacks jurisdiction to hear cases involving offenses that occurred outside of India.

He went on to say that they had three different forms of evidence against Singh: one written document and two audio recordings. The additional prosecutor to the court was told that these statements were recorded in accordance with Sections 161 (examination of witnesses by the police) and 164 (statements recorded by a Magistrate) of the Code of Criminal Procedure (CrPC).

Vinod Tomar was named as a co-accused by Delhi Police in its inquiry as the person who enabled the operations. Before the suspension, Vinod Tomar was a second WFI secretary and collaborated closely with Singh in addition to managing the Federation’s day-to-day operations. Additionally, the Delhi Police said that Tomar has been charged with supporting Brij Bhushan’s actions by every single eyewitness in the case.

On October 7, the court will resume hearing the case.
