‘YashoBhoomi’, a massive exhibition and conference center, will be opened by PM Modi on Sunday in Delhi’s Dwarka

On Sunday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will dedicate the country to the YashoBhoomi India International Convention and Expo Center (IICC) in Delhi’s Dwarka neighborhood. He will also open a new metro station at Dwarka Sector 25 next to “YashoBhoomi” on the Delhi Airport Metro Express line expansion from Dwarka Sector 21.<img decoding=”async” class=”alignnone wp-image-183250″ src=”https://www.theindiaprint.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/theindiaprint.com-beijing-imposes-penalties-on-two-us-defense-firms-for-selling-weapons-to-taiwan-do.jpg” alt=”theindiaprint.com beijing imposes penalties on two us defense firms for selling weapons to taiwan do” width=”1315″ height=”718″ srcset=”https://www.theindiaprint.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/theindiaprint.com-beijing-imposes-penalties-on-two-us-defense-firms-for-selling-weapons-to-taiwan-do.jpg 304w, https://www.theindiaprint.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/theindiaprint.com-beijing-imposes-penalties-on-two-us-defense-firms-for-selling-weapons-to-taiwan-do-150×82.jpg 150w” sizes=”(max-width: 1315px) 100vw, 1315px” title=”'YashoBhoomi', a massive exhibition and conference center, will be opened by PM Modi on Sunday in Delhi's Dwarka 3″>

The operationalization of Phase 1 of “YashoBhoomi” would support the Prime Minister’s objective of having a top-notch infrastructure for holding meetings, conferences, and exhibits in the nation.

‘YashoBhoomi’ would rank among the biggest MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) facilities in the world with a total project area of over 8.9 lakh square meters and a total built-up area of more than 1.8 lakh square meters.

The conference Center, which was constructed across an area of more than 73,000 square meters, has 15 conference rooms, including the Main Auditorium, the Grand Ballroom, and 13 meeting rooms with a capacity for 11,000 attendees. Its LED media façade is the biggest in the nation.

The Convention Center’s Main auditorium serves as the plenary hall and has seats for around 6,000 people. The auditorium includes one of the most cutting-edge automatic seating systems, allowing the floor to be either flat or tiered in the form of an auditorium for various seating arrangements. It has hardwood flooring, and the auditorium’s acoustic wall panels will provide guests a first-rate experience.

The Grand Ballroom can accommodate around 2,500 people and has a distinctive petal ceiling. Additionally, it includes a large open space with 500 seats. The 13 conference rooms, which are dispersed over eight levels, are designed to accommodate various gatherings of various sizes.

One of the biggest exhibition halls in the world is also available at YashoBhoomi. These display halls, which cover an area of more than 1.07 lakh square meters and are used to hold exhibits, trade fairs, and business events, are linked to a grand lobby area that is specially constructed with a copper roof that diffuses light in the area via the space’s many skylights. The foyer will hold a number of support spaces, including ticketing, media rooms, VVIP lounges, cloak rooms, and visitor information centers.

It is made up of elements and things that are influenced by Indian culture, such as terrazzo floors with brass inlays that depict rangoli patterns, suspended sound-absorbing metal cylinders, and illuminated pattern walls.

YashoBhoomi also exhibits a strong commitment to sustainability by having rooftop solar panels, a state-of-the-art wastewater treatment system with 100% wastewater reuse, and other environmentally friendly features. Additionally, the campus has been certified as a Green Cities Platinum by the Indian Green Building Council (IGBC) of the CII.

With the opening of the new metro station in Dwarka Sector 25, YashoBhoomi will also be linked to the Delhi Airport Metro Express line.

Additionally, Delhi Metro would shorten travel times by increasing the operating speed of Metro trains on the Airport Express Line from 90 to 120 km/hr. It would take around 21 minutes to get from New Delhi to YashoBhoomi Dwarka Sector 25.

The Indira Gandhi International Center in Delhi is 10 kilometres distant from the center.
