Chandrayaan-3 trash generates 600 billion rupees for India

<p>In addition to propelling India to the forefront of space exploration, Chandrayaan-3’s accomplishment has created new revenue streams for the space sector. Starting with Chandrayaan-3, the Indian government was able to raise close to Rs 600 crore by selling the spacecraft’s junk up to August, which is equal to the moon mission’s budget. <p>According to sources, between October 2 and October 31, the Government of India will also begin a Special Campaign 3.0 with a primary emphasis on promoting cleanliness and decreasing administrative lag time.</p>
<p>According to a representative, India made around Rs 371 crore from a similar campaign in October of last year and has a goal income of Rs 400 crore in October 2023.</p>
<p>In the first campaign, which ended in October 2021, the Center made around Rs 62 crore. The cleanliness push was institutionalized by the Centre as a set activity after the previous year’s campaign, which concluded in November. Since then, it has consistently generated close to Rs 20 crore each month, the official said.</p>
