Finally arriving in Delhi for the G20 Summit are Rishi Sunak and his wife Akshata Murty. The pair reportedly decided to go on a low-key dinner date on Friday night.
Due to substantial traffic limitations, Sunak and Murty’s other Friday night plans had to be scrapped. The couple chose a private supper in Lutyens’ Delhi after they were unable to go through with any such arrangement. The pair went to a local restaurant on Friday night for supper when they were guests at the five-star Shangri-La Hotel.

According to the story, the couple had supper at the Imperial hotel. They were seen strolling together in a photograph. Murty is sporting a white T-shirt and white and pink striped pants, in contrast to Sunak, who is dressed in a white shirt without a jacket.

In the meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed sympathy and support for the victims of the earthquake in Morocco as the G20 Summit got underway on Saturday. He promised to “transform the global trust deficit into more trustworthy relations” with this.

On Saturday morning, PM Modi greeted a number of foreign leaders to the Bharat Mandapam, the location of the G20 Summit, including US President Joe Biden and UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak.

The wall of the red carpet was decorated with various yoga poses, and it was flanked on each side by country flags. The international leaders were greeted by Modi with a cordial handshake.
