<p>In response to DMK leader Udhayanidhi Stalin’s comments on “Sanatan dharma,” opposition INDIA alliance parties came under fire from Home Minister Amit Shah on Sunday. He accused them of denigrating “Sanatan dharma” for vote-bank and appeasement tactics.</p>

<p>Shah said that DMK politicians, including the chief minister of Tamil Nadu’s son, want the abolition of “Sanatan dharma.”</p>
<p>“These guys mentioned ‘Sanatan dharma’ in an effort to win over voters. At a public event in Dungarpur on the opening of the Parivartan Yatra in election-bound Rajasthan, BJP leader Shah remarked, “They have insulted (‘Sanatan dharma’).”</p>
<p>The INDIA coalition, which Shah referred to as the “ghamandiya gathbandhan,” may do anything it takes to win over voters, but the more they criticize “Sanatan dharma,” the less prominent they become.</p>
<p>“They claim that ‘Sanatan’ control would take over if Modi wins. The people’s hearts are under the control of “Sanatan.” Shah said that the prime minister has tried to safeguard the country and that he has stated that the country would operate in accordance with the Constitution.</p>
<p>A big temple would be completed in January on the same piece of ground where Ram was born, according to him, who claimed that the Congress has long stalled construction of the Ram temple.</p>
<p>“The INDIA alliance cannot stop it,” he said.</p>
