<p>The core committee, made up of 15 people, including the chief minister and organizational secretary, will deal with post-delimitation problems in advance of the future parliamentary elections in 2024.</p>
<p>According to Bhabesh Kalita, the Assam State BJP President, the core committee’s main objective would be to reorganize the party’s cadres in response to the delimitation procedure.</p>
<p>However, he emphasized that current concerns like the cash-for-job controversy and purported internal conflicts between senior and junior party members would not be on the agenda.</p>
<p>It’s important to note that, in an effort to improve administrative efficiency, the Assam Cabinet decided to create four new districts and 81 sub-districts once the delimitation procedure was completed. Last Friday, Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma made this declaration.</p>
