<p>The forthcoming G-20 Summit is being prepared for in Delhi. For this reason, the whole capital’s educational system will be closed from September 8 to September 10. All government offices, including the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) office, would be closed on the days specified, according to information provided by the Delhi government. The newly constructed Bharat Mandapam Convention Centre in Delhi’s Pragati Maidan will serve as the summit’s venue. The State Government has proclaimed a three-day holiday throughout the state on this specific date. Schools are required by the education department to observe September 8 as a holiday for both students and employees. On this day, schools in Noida and Ghaziabad will be open as usual. <p>The second Saturday of each month is a holiday, and Sundays are also off for most schools. Consequently, a one-day vacation for educational institutions is being explored. However, the advice is to keep them closed for the whole three days of the G-20 Summit at other locations, such as private offices in Delhi.</p>
<p>The goal of the holiday is to keep certain highways open for the G-20 Summit while reducing traffic congestion as much as feasible. Numerous locations, including Khan Market, Chandni Chowk, Delhi Haat, Connaught Place, and Malcha Marg Market, will have heightened security measures. The MCD has also decided to start cleaning the city’s 26 main thoroughfares on August 16.</p>
<p>According to the information that is currently available, city buses won’t operate in the New Delhi region. Delhi Metro will however continue to run in order to provide passengers with smooth transit. You should be aware that neither boarding nor disembarking will be permitted at the Supreme Court Metro Station. The prohibition will be in effect from September 7th night until September 10th at midnight. Additionally, markets and retail centers won’t be open.</p>
<p>In order to participate in a program in Pragati Maidan and see a cultural event, the G-20 delegates are asked to come early. The National Gallery of Modern Art and Pusa Road will also be visited by the wives of the leaders.</p>
