Possible heaviest rainfall during the next three days in parts of Punjab and Haryana: IMD

<p>Director of the Meteorological Department Manmohan Singh warned that heavy rains might fall in parts of Punjab and Haryana, states that border Himachal Pradesh.</p>

<p>In Chandigarh, heavy rains are also predicted in addition to these places.</p>
<p> </p>
<p> </p>
<p>“The temperature in Punjab and Haryana, which is being recorded at 34 to 36 degrees Celsius, will also see a decrease in the coming weeks.”</p>
<p> </p>
<p>It is important to note that the regional meteorological office in Himachal Pradesh has issued heavy rainfall advisories for Monday for a number of districts, including Shimla, Kullu, and Mandi.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>“Moderate to heavy rainfall is expected to continue across the state, with some locations seeing extremely heavy rainfall. The districts of Chamba, Kangra, Mandi, Shimla, Kullu, Lahaul and Spiti, and Sirmaur may see exceptionally heavy rainfall in isolated areas, according to a Monday morning advisory from the local meteorological service.</p>
