Since 2018, the promotions have been on hold. According to them, the file was transferred after Saxena requested that any promotions owed to government personnel be given as soon as possible via reducing red tape.

These medical professionals work for government-run institutions in Delhi, including the GB Pant Hospital, Baba Saheb Ambedkar Hospital, Deep Chand Bandhu Hospital, Guru Teg Bahadur Hospital, Lok Nayak Hospital, Deen Dayal Upadhyay Hospital, and others.

Saxena has insisted on a reform in the hiring procedures ever since he took over in order to guarantee that new hires and promotions are made as soon as possible.
