In order to evaluate the Rajouri anti-terror operation, Rajnath travels to Jammu

Rajnath Singh, the minister of defence, visited here on Saturday to assess the status of the campaign against terrorists in J&K's Rajouri district.
The defence minister, Lt. Governor Manoj Sinha, and top Army commanders travelled to Rajouri in an Army helicopter after landing in the technical section of Jammu airport.
The defence minister will assess the continuing counterterrorism effort.
Lt. General Upendra Dwivedi, GOC in Northern Command, has already arrived there and will inform the defence minister on the operation against the terrorists.
Up to five Army personnel, including elite paracommandos, were slain by militants on Friday in Rajouri's Kandi jungle.
Ten Army troops have been slain by militants in the Rajouri-Poonch region during the last two weeks.
As the different terrorist organisations' launch sites are located close to the LoC on the Pakistani side, Rajnath Singh will also evaluate the general security situation along the LoC.
